Returns and Exchanges

Returns on Defective Products

Defective products may be returned for exchange, refund or credit within 7 days of purchase date. Mega Computer reserves the right to determine whether the product is defective or not. The product will only be replaced directly once it has been deemed defective. This will be validated by our in house Technician.

Returns on Non-defective Products (In-Store Purchases)

If your product(s) are non-defective, and within 7 days of the purchase date, the products for return are subject to the following conditions:

  • If the product is not defective, and the customer wishes to return or exchange it, there will be a 10% restocking charge. All returns and/or exchanges must be made within the first 7 days of purchasing the product.
  • If the packaging (including the box if any) has not been opened and/or the product has not been used, the product can be returned for an exchange or credit; note: without a restocking charge within the 7-day period stated above.
  • At the time of the return, the original sales invoice must be presented. If the invoice is not provided by the customer at the time of the return, Mega Computer Systems reserves the right to issue a store credit. If the Invoice is presented, standard return methods will be applied.

Mega Computer Systems reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 10% or more on returned products that have missing contents (eg: cables, adapter, and software media discs, manuals, damaged or missing parts ,etc)
Physically damaged products or not in resalable condition will not be accepted. Please make sure you verify all specifications and compatibility before purchasing.

Returns on Non-defective Products (Online Purchases)

If your products are non-defective, and within 14 days of the purchase date, the products for return are subject to the following conditions:

If the product is not defective, and the customer wishes to return or exchange it, there will be a 10% restocking charge. It is also up the buyer to cover the cost of the return shipping. All returns and/or exchanges must be made within the first 14 days of purchasing the product. If the packaging (including the box if any) has not been opened and/or the product has not been used, the product can be returned for an exchange or credit without a restocking charge within the 14-day period stated above. Be advised buyer is still responsible for the return shipping costs.

If a product is found to be defective within the 30 day period, buyer may ship it back to Mega Computer Systems, where we will validate the defective product, and set it up for Manufacture warranty. Mega Computer Systems will cover the cost of the shipping back to the buyer.

Mega Computer Systems reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 10% or more on returned products that have missing contents (eg. cables, adapter, and software media discs, manuals, damaged or missing parts .ect) Mega Computer Systems also reserves the right to change the shipping policies at any time.

Physically damaged products or not in resalable condition will not be accepted.

Returns on Special Ordered Products

All Specially ordered items are considered a final sale. These items are defined as items that are not normally kept in stock, and were specially brought in for a customer. These Products are NON Returnable and NON refundable. However they can be exchanged for another identical working Model if found defective. These Items are subject to our standard in store 30 day warranties, but no refund or returns.

Returns on Custom Build Systems

Custom build systems are subject to the “special order” policy. They are non returnable, and also considered final sale. They do however come with a 1yr hardware warranty, and are subject to 1yr free diagnostic services pertaining to hardware related issues. If a part is determined to be defective; we will handle the warranty and all costs associated with it.
